If you have a craft idea you would like to share, I would really like to hear from you. Want to submit your idea and have it on the site? I welcome your ideas and suggestions.
I am currently looking for guest contributors. If you have an article you would like to submit, that would be great. You could have a page dedicated to you, to help promote your business.
Need a better explanation of a tutorial on the website? If something is unclear or not explained just right, I would be glad to help with that, just contact me. I try to be straight forward and thorough with the tutorials but sometimes things might not be clear. My goal is to have a fun and interesting website that provides information that makes sense.
Have a Craft Wreck you dare to share? The project that didn't turn out the way you envisioned? Did you keep at it and transform it, or did it end up in the trash?
I think you can learn something even from the things that weren't a great success. Crafts can't always be perfect. Laughing at our craft disasters can be good therapy!
Do you have a particular tool or technique that is a danger to you? I can use a jigsaw, chainsaw, and tablesaw but don't give me a kitchen knife. Knives are my enemy! That has been part of my motivation for creating the alternative technique for making a carved walking stick.
The process of creating, even when things don't go wrong, can also be interesting. Sometimes we can start out with an idea and end up with something quite different, something even better.
Everyone has their favorite craft. What is yours? How long have you been crafting? I've been creating projects for over 40 years. Yikes, that really does make me sound old doesn't it?
One of my favorite crafts is paper mache, but it is messy. Sometimes I say "Yes" to the mess. Other times, I don't feel like making a mess and getting my hands sticky. That is why I do a variety of crafts. I can always find something to suit my mood. The gloves weren't because I was doing paper mache. It's not THAT messy! The gloves were needed when I used spray foam to make a witches cauldron. The talk to the hand pose is because I never like to have my picture taken, no matter what I'm making!
Please feel free to contact me at any time. I'm always interested in what other crafters have to say. Even a funny story would be great to hear. Your comments or questions will be kept confidential, unless it is something you would like to share with others. Remember, sharing is the best part!
I look forward to hearing from you.
